JpegSizer provides 12 choices for the resampling algorithm used. This choice determines which mathematical technique is used when the pixel count of an image is being changed.

> To select a resampling algorithm for image resizing:
| 1. | In the Edit Settings dialog, open the Format tab. |
| 2. | In the Resampling Algorithm area, select a method from the drop-down list. The default method is Lanczos3. |
Notes:
| • | The differences between resampling algorithms are often very subtle, and only be seen on careful inspection of resized images. |
| • | The Home version of JpegSizer uses the preferred Lanczos3 method. |
| • | The Lanczos3 method is recommended if you are enlarging images instead of reducing them. |
| • | For technical discussions of resampling algorithms, see the Recommended reading topic. |
